
Classes
Our classes are set up to be both demonstrative and interactive, with all the tools you need to learn from the very best chefs in Essex. We limit each class to 6-8 guests although one to one and corporate hire classes are available on request. For a group of 5 or more, you can select any class, date and time of your choosing. Feel free to bring your own wine/drinks - we have plenty of glasses!

All aprons and equipment is provided - if you prefer to bring your own favourite knife, Please do!

Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate!

This class will showcase some fabulous chocolate desserts to include a a great recipe for a dark chocolate gooey fondant to eat on the day along with a tasting of chocolate from around the world.
We will be using these amazing chocolates to create some classic chocolate desserts.
A glass of chocolate wine is included in the price to drink with desserts and a light main meal lunch.

The Perfect Roast & Shiraz

This class is all about cooking the perfect Sunday Lunch. Perfect for tips and tricks to upgrade your weekend. We will roast three different meats, beef, lamb and chicken, along with tips on vegetables and potatoes, yorkies and gravies.

We will also cook a classic british dessert to finish.

Homemade pasta and freshly prepared fish and shellfish are a wonderful combination and are very satisfying to create tasty dishes.
We will take you through how to make your own fresh pasta, using traditional methods and techniques, creating some interesting shapes and styles. We will be teaching you how to cook and prepare crab, scallops and mussels. Showing you how to cook and serve with appropriate sauces to go with your pasta.

A class dedicated to the art of the dinner party canapé. Perfect for your next hosting event or bringing some glamour to your Christmas festivities. We will prepare a selection of fish, meat and vegetarian canapés that are will start any event in style along with some sparkling wine cocktails which you will also make yourself.

Vegetable & Fruit Breads, Chutneys & Pickles

A special class with the late Queens ex pastry chef Selwyn, He will show you how to make a range of breads to include some interesting vegetable breads such as carrot, thyme and honey bread and curry and sultana.
​
We will also make some homemade pickles and chutneys for you to take away and taste with a selection of cheeses and a glass of wine for lunch.
​
Selwyn is a fantastic and interesting character along with being a brilliant pastry chef!

Have fun making fresh pasta! You will create dishes such as Tiger Prawn Ravioli made with squid ink, Tagliatelle with a fresh cherry tomato sauce and Ricotta and spinach pasta with fresh pesto along with some prosecco!
